Can't select AI agent during install

Windows 11 PRO with Visual Studio Code and Github Copilot

Boost Version: 1.0.17

When trying to install boost there is no obvious way to select agent.

The MCp installation automaticly detects my Code editor, so i can just press enter.
But it doesn not detect agent, and it does not give me a way to select from the list.

I use VS Code with github copilot, but typing "Github Copilot", "Copilot" or any other combination just gives me "Value "Github Copilot" is invalid.
I have tried typing "Laravel \Boost\Install\CodeEnvironmnet\Copilot" but then i get "No direct script access allowed".

I have tried with the terminal in VSCode, cmd and Powershell, but no difference.

1. composer require laravel/boost --dev
2. php artisan boost:install
3. When prompted for IDE -> "VS Code" is auto-detected. Press enter
4. When prompted for AI agent -> Can see the list, but can't choose.

Same here. Seems to be a Windows issue.
I've tested it in both powershell (pwsh) and command prompt (cmd).

i am also faicn gissues on windows as well, however for my case i a not using eithe rof the listed agents

Do you have a file .github/copilot-instructions.md? It must be created before executing the command

No. But after adding it as an empty file the installation did detect Copilot.
But got "No direct script access allowed" when pressing pressing enter to install.

@mathiasbk I’ll need Windows to properly tackle this weird issue, but can you confirm whether pressing the space key lets you select it? That’s how it works on Mac.
Let me know I’m happy to take a closer look if it doesn’t.

same with me, i cannot select, either with arrows up/down or with write manual

It's just like a text input, so when pressing space it just adds a space to the textinput.

VS Code on WSL doesn’t recognize MCP either.
